Luxam introduced modern LED lighting to the Tanis Collection at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, transforming the presentation of royal artifacts that had previously been displayed without in-case illumination. The project brought discreet, efficient lighting to historic showcases and improved visibility.
Working within a historic setting and century-old display cases, Luxam delivered an upgrade that respects the museum’s architecture and curatorial goals. The new system offers enhanced color rendering and precise beam control, revealing surface details and craftsmanship that were previously difficult to see. Each installation was carefully executed to remain visually unobtrusive and reversible. The display now meets contemporary museum standards for visibility and presentation, offering visitors a clearer view of one of Egypt’s most significant royal collections.
