Dieric Bouts, famously known as “the painter of silence,” was a celebrated Flemish painter who created pieces that depict religious settings in a representation of the real world. “The Last Supper” is known to be one the greatest paintings by of the 15th century and is displayed at the Musée M.
Dieric Bouts created a sophisticated work in which scenes from the Old Testament culminate in the New Testament story of the Last Supper. Remarkably, Bouts situated this event in a contemporary dining room of a patrician house. Gothic windows on the left overlook a market square with a building reminiscent of the town hall in Leuven. Christ and his twelve disciples are assisted by four other figures, undoubtedly Bouts’ contemporaries. The Low Countries
Lighting the centuries-old masterpiece is the L-MTSP-12 Micro Track 1W Spotlight which is our smallest track fixture. It is fully focusable, dimmable, and compatible with the MicroTracks support systems.
