Eames Institute Gallery – Richmonde, California – 2024

The Eames Institute Gallery is home to the legacy of creative powerhouse Charles and Ray Eames of the popularly known Eames Office who made significant contributions to the fields of graphic and industrial design, film, architecture, and furniture.


“Launched in March 2022, the Eames Institute is designed to inspire contemporary audiences to engage in design by imparting the legacy of Ray and Charles Eames through printed publications, robust digital presence, and physical installations. Following nine acclaimed online exhibitions, the opening of the Institute’s Archive will enable a direct share of the Eameses’ legacy and their lasting influence.” Wide Walls

The Archive will offer an “in-depth view of the duo’s practice, with materials ranging from mass-produced furniture designs and unique one-of-a-kind prototypes, to personal ephemera and private correspondence” resulting in over 40,000 artifacts for the public to see for the very first time.

Luxam 3W Spotlights (L-MTSP-02), 6W Spotlights (L-MTSP-22) and 5W Wall-washers (L-MTWS-22) were used to light the gallery space.
